For researchers and scientists who would like to collaborate on an EEG experiment using our facilities, feel free to contact Dr. Claude Alain. The EEG Lab at the Rotman Research Institute houses two sound-attenuated booths, active EEG recording equipment, clinical audiometers, participant preparation room, and software for presenting stimuli and data analysis.

Join Our Research Team!

The Alain Lab is actively seeking motivated volunteer research assistants to assist with our summer and upcoming academic year projects.

What You’ll Do:
– Gain hands-on experience with participant recruitment and database management.
– Assist in creating and editing video/audio experimental stimuli.
– Provide crucial onsite support while active studies are running.

Position Requirements:
– Availability: Must be available onsite during standard weekday business hours (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM). Because of hospital restrictions, we may not be able to accommodate weekend or evening hours.
– Commitment: Preference is given to candidates who can commit to staying on through the upcoming school year.
– Remote Option: Very limited remote roles may be available, strictly focused on participant recruitment.
