MRI Resources: State of the art Siemens Prisma Fit 3.0 Tesla dedicated research magnet operating XA 30 Software.  An array of coils including  20, 32  and 64 channel head coils; dedicated MR Simulator; MR Conditional EEG and Eye Tracker systems and a dedicated team of MR professionals. Independent MR Simulator System access complimentary to the MR Scanner.

MRI Suite Visitors:  Please note that, in the interest of safety and  participant privacy, you *must* contact  the MRI Technologist prior to bringing visitors into the MRI suite. No exceptions.  All Visitors will be required to fill out a  MR Environment Pre-Entry Screening Form prior to access. The MRI Technologist(s)  phone number is (416) 785 2500 ext. 3320 or you can email Garry if you are aware of a pending visit 48 hours in advance @ gdetzler@research.baycrest.org

MRI Research projects approval:  All MRI research projects conducted at Baycrest must receive approval from the Imaging Committee (IOC) and our Baycrest REB prior to initiation.                                                                        Application forms can be downloaded below.

MRI Scanner Hourly Rate:  Grant Cohort Research Users - $450.00, Corporate Commercial Clinical Trials - $1500.00, Other industry use for product development / testing - $300.00                                               ~ all rates are subject to change  ~ Reservations are created in 30 minute intervals

MRI Scanner Cancellations:  cancellations with less than 72 hours notice will be billed at the normal rate ~ MRI No Shows at door on day of exam: Billed @ half rate.
