Hi there,
I was wondering if it's possible, and how, to do repeated measures in PLS. We have 2 scanning sessions of the same sort of runs and conditions, and would like to look at the repetition effect. Can the 2 sessions be entered as 2 groups, or will the data then automatically be treated as between group data rather than within?

Thanks!
Hedvig.

The permutation test for PLS is valid for repeated measures designs so long as you indicate which factors are within subject and which are between.  For two sessions where tasks are repeated, I would include all tasks and sessions in a single session profile for each subject and add a label to the tasks to indicate sesson1 vs session2: e.g., task1_session1, task2_session1, task1_session2, etc.
