please add the jpg of the design scores and brainscore plot - something does not look right here- your first LV looks as if it should be the third
also did you enter the Helmert contrasts by hand? Also.. using Helmert contrast creates a rotated PLS -
nonrotated PLS is the case where you have specific (potentially nonorthogonal) contrasts that you wish to test
