could someone please explain this error.  i get it when i try to run a pls analysis on structural data:

ERROR: There are no common voxels found.
Error in ==> struct_analysis at 3
  singledatamat = 0;        % init singledatamat to false

??? Output argument "elapsed_time" (and maybe others) not assigned during call to
"C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2008a\toolbox\PLSgui\struct_analysis.m
(struct_analysis)".

Error in ==> struct_analysis_ui>ExecutePLS at 1887
   [resultFile, elapsed_time] = struct_analysis(PLSoptions.isbehav, ...

Error in ==> struct_analysis_ui at 95
           ExecutePLS;

??? Error using ==> waitfor
Error while evaluating uicontrol Callback

As explained by the error:
    There are no common voxels found among your datamat groups.

Here's how to check your datamat:
    load all your *_structdatamat.mat file one by one
    make sure that you have overlap among all their "coords" vector (index of brain voxel found for this particular datamat)

According to your error message, the intersect among all their "coords" vector variable is empty.

thanks Jimmy.  the problem was the mask. i was using was in float32 file type and the others were init16.  when i converted the mask to init16 it worked perfectly.  dave
