hello everyone, and sorry for the blank post! We've been working through the E.R. fMRI tutorial, and we're having problems loading a background image for the results overlay. When attempting to use an image from a prior PLS tutorial (with header), we get an error message that says that the image size is incompatible, followed by something that we cannot read due to a formatting issue with the gui. Advice? Thanks!

Mariann

It is required that the background image should have the same size as the image in your datamat. Therefore, you will need to resample the background image to be used in the program.

thanks - this makes sense. A related question: do the tutorial data files downloads include a background image file, or should we be using our own average brain image?

Tutorial data does not include any background image file. However, you can simply use any one of the scan image data (.img/.hdr) for background image. It could be better if you are using the average of them (I mean the scan image that is included in the tutorial data, not your own average brain image), but I don't know how better it will be.
