Brain patterns and CI crossing zero

Hello PLS help,

I have a question about interpreting the results of a non-rotated PLS analysis. I have four conditions and set up a contrast 1 -1 1 -1. The resulting LV is significant (p=0.018), however, only the first and third condition seem to contribute to the associate brain pattern (their CI do not cross zero). The brain scores for condition 2 and 4 are on average slightly positive (despite setting the contrast for -1) and their CI both cross zero.

My question is now: how do I interpret the brain pattern that is associated with negative boot strap ratios?

Best wishes, Conny
