Hi!

An unexpected error appeared while preparing PET (.nii) data. I have 26 subjects, 2 conditions. Running PLS on MAC OS X Yosemite, MATLAB-version R2012a. Pressing the "Create" button on "Create PET datamat" window gives me the following error:

Undefined function 'rri_progress_ui' for input arguments of type 'char'.

Error in pet_create_datamat_ui>CreateDatamat (line 791)
    progress_hdl = rri_progress_ui('initialize', 'Creating Datamat');

Error in pet_create_datamat_ui (line 43)
         CreateDatamat;

Error using waitfor
Error while evaluating uicontrol Callback

Can anyone tell me what to do to correct this?

Cheers!

Jaakko

hard to know - can you see if you can create a datamat with one subject only?  It may be a file permission issue.

Tried to create datamat for just one subject (with my own data and with the Rotman-test data). Same thing. There should be no permission restrictions since I'm able to read and write the files.

Could it OS X Yosemite? Experiences anyone? In my old computer PLS worked just fine with the same MATLAB version.

Ideas what to try next?

Odd - can you post a couple of images somewhere and we can test it? I have the same OS

once you post the data, send me an email rmcintosh@research.baycrest.org

Just to let you all know: I was not able to run PLS on MATLAB version R2012a (PET data, MAC OS X Yosemite). However, PLS seems to run fine with the newest version of MATLAB (R2016b). So if you are experiencing similar issues with creating a datamat-file, try updating the MATLAB software. Might work.

Hi Jaako..

the matlab graphics engine changed with v2014B - so it's surprising that the gui is working for you - do not expect to have all windows work..

cheers
