Greetings PLS experts,

I was hoping to do a simple conjunction analysis between 2 LV's of interest from a task PLS study. I was just curious as to whether the description provided here by Dr. Randy McIntosh of how to do the conjunction analysis still holds?

Or if there is anything new that I should watch out for when following these steps? I wasn't sure if there were any differences in the PLS results file since the thread linked is from 2008 (for example, when it's stated "boot_result.compare", I was thinking this would be the same as "result.boot_result.compare_u" which I have in my results folder). Thanks.

Paul

Hi Paul,

the process is the same other than the changes in the variable names as you indicated.  The only caution is the same as in my original post:

"It is worth emphasizing that neither of these approaches is a statistical assessment of the conjunction ala SPM"  - its a description not a statistical test
